When can I make a purchase?

ALL SALES will remain open until Monday, October 26 @ 8am PST unless a film gets sold out prior to that date.

How can virtual screenings get sold out?
While our MiniFest screenings are virtual, they are “Special Festival Screenings” and therefore limited which means we only have a certain number of “seats” available in our virtual theater. These capacity limits are negotiated with each film distributor. If there is a particular film(s) you want to make sure to see, we encourage you to make your purchase early! The MiniFest Pass guarantees access to all of the films, regardless if one sells out before you watch it.

You can access the films from the carousel at the top of the home page, or by scrolling down to the film posters. Instructions will appear once sales are open.

You need to log in or create an account to make a purchase. (If you created an account last June, it is still valid).

When can I watch the films?

Regardless of the day & time you make your purchase, you have until Monday, October 26 @ 8am to start watching every film you purchased.
So, if you make your purchase on Wednesday October 21 or prior, you’ll have 5 days to watch the available films, if you make your purchase on Thursday, you will have 4 days, and so on.

• Play, Felicità, Perfumes, and My Donkey, My Lover & I, will be available to watch on demand during the whole five days of the MiniFest, from Wednesday, October 21 at 8am PST until Monday, October 26 at 8am PST.
• The Morning After will be available to watch only for the last two days of the MiniFest, from Saturday, October 24 at 8am PST, and will remain available until Monday, October 26 at 8am PST.

You can watch the films in the order you like but if you want to participate in any of our Zoom discussions, please make sure to watch the films in advance of their discussion! Find the Zoom Discussion Calendar HERE.

Playback Window

• Once you start playing a film, you have 48 hours to finish it.
• Make sure to start playing every film you’ve purchased before Monday, October 26 @ 8am to benefit from your 48-hour Playback Window!

Once you make a purchase, the films will appear in your account library with information about when they will become available to watch (if not yet) or when they expire (if available already).

Clicking on “Play Now” takes you into the film. Your “Playback Window” only starts once you hit the Play symbol on the film: you now have 48 hours to watch that particular film!
